Over the last year, I’ve bumped into a few cyclists at public information sessions for the York bicycling and pedestrian master plan, and Class EA meetings for road improvements. Some of us have been mulling over the idea of creating a local BUG (bicycle user group for those who don’t know), or at the very least create a web presence where York Region riders can exchange information. Right now “mulling it over” means we’ve agreed that it’s a good thing to do, but we don’t have any direction quite yet.
